Default Pretty sure they were all 289 motors and Roush was not in the picture>>

so more than likely a repro...but i have heard that some of those kits are gorgeous and the Roush motor is well...ridiculous!

Default Even nearly identical replicas...

<center><img src="http://thecarsource.com/shelby/cobra/daytona/images/csx2287_a.jpg"></center><p>...tend to miss the mark on the wheels. Typically the wrong offset, and nearly always the wrong tire sizes.

Each of the coupes (6) were slightly different, being hand built and updated as they went, but shown above is the notorious, unrestored, former Phil Spector car ^^^

Default Only 6 originals. Replica -- Peter Brock designed the originals and some of the replicas.

Default Re: Superformance replica..,Yes tis and >>

....the wheels are a giveaway from 30 feet. Brock did the design work for HTeck/Superfomance and did a nice job.

McKluskey made a few 8 ? 9 ? in the early 90's that were almost real close....some had air conditioning and went to Japan.

All small block Fords originally.....the later seventh car (never completed) was to have had an FE motor...finally got resurected and finished in about 1993.
