I know about the oil plug sender thingy. I just received my Revo oil temp gauge in the mail today and it came with a sensor. Where else can I install it to pick up the temperature?

Default liquid TT ; )

Just wait a couple days!

Best place is on top of the oil filter. There is a blanked off bolt there that is used on some other cars. MarTT or Steve should have it in their Fotkis.

Default I plan on letting LiquidTT display other things. I need the gauge to be there all the time at the

track, for my level of comfort. I dumped my AutoSport Boost and AF Gauges for a new boost/oil temp gauge in the pod.

I've found the LiquidTT a little too hard to focus on when I'm flying around the track at speed. But it does have its uses after the run is over.

Default The bolt is an M10 on top of the oil filter housing - and the depth is pretty shallow

generally only a OEM or VDO sender will fit. Most aftermarkets are 1/8 NPT. Mine for my stewart warner gauge will not work in that location and the gauge can't use the VDO sender.

I'm looking at drilling and tapping my oil cooler adaptor as I tried the drainplug and it kept leaking.

Default If you're already using the oil plug thingy, you can use this for multiple senders....

Default The one that came with my gauge is 10mm dia x about 22mm deep, think that is too long?

The thread depth is about 9mm with 13mm of probe extending below it.
