Default I would not...

Unless it is a very, very short distance...could spew oil...those dipsticks "snap-seal" for a reason.

Default I did for a few days, and probably 100+ miles... was ok

I stuffed the hole with a rubber glove, no CEL's or anything

Default wow ok. Well i used a oil drain bolt...

it was just a lil smaller than the whole. I wrapped the bolt with electrical tape so that it fit very snugly in hole all the way down. I think a few very small pieces of plastic fell down but no way can i change the oil now...I'll pick up a tube tomorrow. thanks for your help guys

Default No. If you have enough of a stump left then use an elastic to secure it

I hesitate to say carefully stuff the rag down the hole a bit. You have to make sure you can get it back out. Rag in the oil pan would be bad.

it's ghetto, but I suppose you could also use tinfoil, zip-tied so it doesn't blow off(?)

Default its time for some good old fashion car repair!

warp whats left in duct tape and fix it asap....... i wouldn't really worry bout it much. just try to keep dirt/water from getting in and oil from coming out....... i had a customer take his broken pieces out, and spend the time to JB weld it all back into 1 piece. lasted him 8months before it broke again.

Default well my taped wrapped bolt worked excellently. It didn't come, and i even had a time getting

it back out. There was not a drop of oil on the bolt so i think it's safe to say that no oil even comes up the tube...
