Default Need Comfort Control Module for 2002 TTR, STAT!

Hey gang... desperately looking for a Comfort Control Module (#8N7962267A) for my 2002 TT Roadster, asap. Do I REALLY need to spend $500 at the dealership for this? Any assistance here is appreciated... and thanks!

i'd search eBay, craigslist, and junk yards parting out TTs. I had the comfort module go out on my old B6 A4 and found one used for $70 shipped. its a joke how because those are proprietary they charge the moon for them. nothing more than basic circuit boards with primitive circuitry. good luck, but i'm sure you'll be able to find one.

I was fortunate to find a used module on Ebay after searching for a year and about to give in to the dealer. Know that I would have to get it programed at the dealer i installed it anyway bc my passenger door indicated open and the window would reset and stayed open. After installing it the samething happened with the replacement as did with the orignal. After that I was lost and didn't understand it unless the wiring for the passenger door was the issue. Any thoughts?
