Default Me, Myself and I.

Extended warranty companies are in business to turn a profit. They have a very good idea of how much they'll pay out vs. how much they charge.

Default Ok, i know i set myself-up for a beating from the peanut gallery. But I am asking this for

a friend who is buying a 225 TTR for the first time. He is not a fixer of cars in general.

But i do enjoy the levity!!!

Default Or are you telling me JUST SAY NO to extended warranties. We really do not have to many

competent audi mechanics outside of the dealership. The only one worth going to, charges just as much for labor and costs as the dealership.

Default Eagle Warranty, which states in my contract they cover full repair to timing belt failure

they have 4 different warranty options, I chose Liberty contract.
It's one year/unlimited milage and can be renewed.<ul><li><a href="http://www.eaglewarranty.com/index.html">Eagle Warranty</a></li></ul>

Default crapshoot...

if something goes wrong now, its out of pocket.

if my motor goes, i'm doing a stage III.
