Default Money into the TT

New Michelin tire$, Just ordered Bilstein Sport struts and shocks, engine mounts, MAF sensor, coilpacks, cd changer, brake discs and pads.

110k on a 2001 quattro that I've had since 50k, and there were no records of any of the parts being replaced.

Just to get the AC working before the Arizona summer gets here and it'll drive like a new car.

Aren't the Coil Packs part of a recall right now?

You will be notified by Audi NA. Before April, they say. They will replace the coils for free.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if ECS will take the coils back?

Audi will pay for coils you've bought elsewhere, but they won't like it. You will have to jump through hoops, and they might deny the claim. Return them if you can.

Yep. I'm not on the list yet for the new coils yet, but the dealership said come in and they can look at them to see if they are the ones that need replacing.. but that they didn't want to look at them unless I had a trouble code.. but they might look at them since I have a rough idle. Dealer is 30 miles away.

ECS will take them back with a restocking fee or 100% store credit I think.

I took mine into audi to get the radio security code and they replaced mine under TSB without asking. I was kind of mad since they didnt ask or atleast notify me prior to doing the work. It was free but still.
