Default panzer! amazingly...

i just got the panzer on friday, and yesterday evening the wife and me were rolling through the city when BOOM, something nailed the bottom of my car again.....it was actually a 'curved' road....sort of like concrete curved upwards.

it has saved my ***...already. well worth it.

Default Got the 1st DG Panzer about a year ago after...............

hardpacked icey stuff ripped my belly pan off and then packed the area between engine and fans thus killing my fans.

DG panzer plate went on as a test for DG. Well, I then moved to Savannah where we have all these ripply old cobbled streets and lots of dips. Well, this thing has really saved the underside of my TT.

You should see the battle scars.

Highly, highly recommend this thing.

Default OT: saw your thread on NY forum about TBD release on Amazon --->

Do you have any plans on releasing on CD in the near future or are you going to stay with MP3 downloads for the time being?
I don't care very much for the lossy format and all the compression that comes along with mp3. You would have a committed CD buyer if you decided to use that format.

Default yeah >>>>

i agree with you, man. i've never been much of a fan of MP3s or their sound, but i gotta say that the market for MP3s is much MUCH greater right now than CDs. most of my friends in bands have lost plenty of money on CD pressings that don't sell nearly as much as MP3/digital releases.

that being said...YES there will be a CD release later in March/April! I really wanted a 12" vinyl pressed too, but it seems that's not gonna happen.

cheers, man! thanks for diggin it.

Default Vinyl would have been great >>>>

...and I understand the market reality of mp3 versus CD. I guess this is proof that capitalism doesn't always pick the best product. But that discussion most likely belongs in the AWP forum...

I don't know what your equipment and software was for the recording, but it might be worth looking into allowing for a hi-rez download on your band's website. It wouldn't have to be a 24/96 download, just a CD-equivalent resolution option.

Most likely I'm the exception to the rule, as I have a dedicated 2 channel audiophile system. I don't listen to music on mp3 players or ipods - when I listen to music I do nothing else. I concentrate on it and focus on several things that always get lost on an mp3 version of an album. I don't treat it as background music.

Yeah, I liked what I heard at amazon. Put up another message when your CD is for sale.
