Default knock noise from a stop is inner cv shaft joint right?

Hi, when I take off from a stop there is a slight knocking noise from passenger side. I've had grease come out from seal on inner joint for a year (seal not boot). I finally fixed seal and put some grease in there, but noise still there.

I assume inner joint is slowly going out/has play. Problem is I'm student right now to become a teacher so no job, and been playing stocks to make money. Now, with how market is going I have no dough at all...damn stocks. I hope the cv will last a year or two...I can live with the noise, but it bothers me.

Default

Could also be from the plastic bushings on the sway bar.

Default i put in TT stuff eurathene bushings in FSB a while back

Boy that was a fun job--not! But TT still has stock sway bar endlinks..could be the culprit with 69K miles. At least those are cheap.

Default Did you replace your strut bushings when you upgraded?

I lost my passenger side bushing a few weeks ago at 70k miles.

Default If you re greased they will often last. Try not to hammer on it too much

Even if it does fail it doesn't take anything else with it so the expense wouldn't change.

Default did Koni FSD's, EIP dogbone mount & strut bearings few months ago

Thanks for the idea's. Sure hope it's one of the big engine mounts. I can't rock the motor by hand, so maybe not that.
