Default I've seriously racked my brain until it hurts.

<center><img src="http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/1199/bridged.jpg"></center><p>I bought the OSIR V3 orbit ring and shiftknob.

The ring works, its tapped in like normal.

However... the **** does not...

It comes with a harness that looks like the pic I posted.

Basically, its the most straightforward thing ever. You plug the female end into the stock harness, and the other end connects to the cig. lighter. There are 3 quick connectors made for future OSIR goodies.

Well, I get that all wired up... connect the quick connector from the shift ****... nothing.

Got a replacement LED, nothing.

It seems like my car just doesn't want to let me draw more current from that cig lighter.

The cig lighter powers up with the stock harness and nothing in between...

But when you throw that Y harness in from OSIR, it won't light the shift **** up.

I'm about to go check the harness for continuity... but I really don't think that's it.

I've had a V2, it didn't work.

I've had the V3, it doesn't work.

It HAS to be my car. I'm offically stumped. I never thought with all the things I've done to this car, that this would be the biggest PITA.

I will say that TTstuff/OSIR have done all they can to help me. Its seriously got me quite pissed off. Its just a cluster!@#$ and I'll hopefully eventually figure it out...

Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Iis it LED lighting? polarity may be an issue. Cig lighter is rated like 15A, not a current problem.

Return the P.O.S. and forget about the cool lights and just invest in a nice Raffi ****.

Default polarity can't (or shouldn't be) wrong.

The LED is on a circuit board which sits in the ****. which has a connector, the connector on the board plugs into the connector on the wire that runs to the harness, which also has a connector.. there isn't any way to mess up polarity unless this circuit board is wrong, which I highly, highly doubt.

Its seriously 99% impossible.
Literally every connection has a "one way only" connector on it.

So yeah, I guess you could say I'm sure.

When I installed mine, They did not come with a connector and polarity was an issue. They had color coded wires and I had to try and see which way worked and it was only one way.Just trying to help.

Default Yeah, you had the V2....

There is a BRAND NEW version called the V3, not a lot of TT guys have it yet...

Anyway, its a liiiitle bit different, and they did away with those clamp connectors and made it 100% plug and play... there is literally a connector at the end of every wire that will plug in one way only, so you can't mess it up.
