Default Improved Coil Packs

My 2001 TT with ATC engine takes a 06B905115E Coil pack. Pure Motor Sports sell the 06B905115R that they say is the improved version. Are the really better, and interchangeable? I will get the set of four.

Default There's a pending recall on your TT and the coilpacks.

Letters are in the mail, we just got one for our A4, expecting another for our TT.

Unless you are having a problem, you might want to wait.

Audi might replace all of them for free.

Default I'm Not the Orriginal Owner

and I do have one bad coil. How will I be found, or how can I try to get Audi to supply me with a new set?

Default Talk to your Dealer or Audi of America.

You might have to replace one and keep the receipt. They might replace the other three and re-imburse you for the one you replaced.

I called the dealer today, and got a reimbursment form from AudiUSA http://www.audiusa.com/us/brand/en/o...container=page You can download a form here. I'm 100 miles from the nearest dealer, so I plan to change all four hereand send a completed fom for parts and lobor reimbursement.

06B905115R This is what the dealer said is the new number. They work fine, but there is no bracket on the top of them to bolt through to hold them to the top of the valve cover.
