Default and you used Wayne's 90 degree adapter to get the O2 sensor out of the exhaust flow?

and which DP did you put on? 42DD? check on their website for info on where to buy the O2 sensor adapter.

Default No - and I already STF's. >>

Its a 2.5" blacktrax custom DP for the 180TTQ. Its 1 of 3.

The cat is a magnaflow and a shop did all the work - I did not do it. I gave them the DP and the O2 elbow, and they did not use the 02 elbow telling me it was not needed - they said it was for a straight pipe only, and legally - they could not install a straight "test" pipe.

I have already searched the forums. The posts detail anything from a vac leak to a bad maf, to bad coil packs to fouled plugs.

I am trying to figure out if the specific range of fault codes I posted indicate one thing more than any other.

If it needs to go back to the shop, i need help trying to figure out if I should be liable to pay for the elbow install since it should have gone on the first time. Any shop mechs, or owners care to chime in?

let's keep that sort of attitude out of this forum, all it does is make people reluctant or cautious to post.

Default so you're saying i DO need the 02 elbow with a cat? >> Carslutt >>

Before I had it done I had a thread going and was told it was only required for a straight pipe.

The shop also told me the o2 bung and elbow were not needed, as the magnaflow had the o2 bung already there. If need be, I can have them unscrew it and put on the elbow - providing it doesnt kill my ground clearance - but do I really need it?

Carslutt >
I am not sure which bank it is. I posted the codes vagcom gave me. As far as I know the only thing not plugged in is the n75 - and its plugged in electronically, but not in the air system. My ECU is --stock--. I only have a Forge DV, MBC, and boost gauge for mods.

I have a pressure tester and cant find a leak. It leaks slowly, but I thought pressure was supposed to slowly leak from the oil cap anyhow?? I tried starting fluid to see if my idle changes. didnt.

I pulled these codes on Sept 11.
16955 - Brake Switch (F): Implausible Signal
P0571 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17963 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1555 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

17705 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1297 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate

17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-00 - -

As a final question - would a bad clutch switch at the pedal cause a 17978 - Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer - P1570 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent ?????

Default i'm sure it all depends upon how high-flow it is...like TTinCT says, his 100 cell cat needed it

...so it might be what you need to get the O2 sensor out of the flow.
