so i unscrewed the three torx screws holding the window motor to the reel, which is also connected to the aluminum window/door frame.

the window is all the way down right now..and when i was about to pull the motor out of the reel..i felt a lot of tension..

is this going to ruin the positioning/alignment of the window?

or is this going to just give me slack, so i can pull the window up, and slip the motor back in with the cords being fully extended up, which is what it normally would be like if the window was fully closed?

sorry to talk posting about this damn window..i just want to be able to drive the car to work tomorrow :\

you may need to slip a wide / flat pry bar in between the motor and regulator to gently pry it away.
