lately i've been commuting in the car for AT LEAST 2 hours a day....generally teetering on 2.5 hours or so....in NYC traffic....which can get really tiring. The drive from Brooklyn to Long Island is only 20 miles...but 20 miles (each way) through Brooklyn and Queens into Long Island and then back to BK takes fooooooooorever!

To entertain myself, i've started playing a new (and slightly lame, but interesting) game......having a daily contest of what is the COOLEST car i see on the road (aside from mine of course!) during my commute.

The choices have ranged from a Murcielago.....to an R8.....to really bad days, where a GTI is the coolest car i see all day in the commute. You guys wanna play? ha! I guess it'll only work if you have at least a substantial commute....yes it's lame...BUT it does pass the time in traffic jams!

Wow, that's a long ride, mine is 25 minutes one way, all back country roads.

sometimes i'm really happy when i get out 'later' at 8pm or something...because traffic is less....UNLESS there's something big going on in the city...then i'll get stuck in the evening commute...even at 8 or 9....BOO.
