HELP: Car is not turning on. Getting codes -->
#15
UPDATE: I got the car home and took off the timing belt cover and I dont' see any broken ->
teeth off hand, but then again I can't clearly see the whole belt. Is the timing belt suppose to turn when you are cranking the ignition? I see the alt/steer/crank pulleys turning when I crank the ignition but the timing belt isn't moving at all....Also, would a faulty cam positioning sensor cause the car to crank but not to turn on?
Is there any SURE way of finding whether this problem is a result of a timing belt problem without taking it to a shop?

You need to stop trying to start the car...>>>
The constant cranking you claim to be doing might be causing more damage than you already have.
The TT engine is not free-wheeling like a Toyota RAV 4, so when the timing belt goes, pistons hit the valves which = big $$$$ repair bill.

You have at this point done some damage to the heads and or pistons>>
There is no where during cranking that a valve won't interfere with a piston. Get it towed to a mechanic. The head must come off.
