Help?! Car demands hazard lights be on, even with a fresh hazard switch/relay.

Great advice, I had a totally different problem, my tripmeter read 0000 all the time, then I tried to change the clock back an hour and it wouldn't work. Unplugged the negative terminal for a few minutes. Zap, all fixed.

Likely, your car thinks you hit your Panic button on the remote, and it hasn't received a reset signal yet.

Hit the Panic button. It will either chirp and stop the flashers, or it will set off the alarms. Hitting Panic again should turn everything off.
