Default help with a boost leak (04 225)

So car feels like it may have a boost leak and after a trip to the track and never breaking past 15.01 at 92 mph I feel some thing is up! and seems not to pull the same.

only mode to car is ARP D/V after stock got stuck 2 times.
Also whats the stock boost with the ko4? and can any link to where I should hook up the boost gauge its been about 8 years since i hooked one to a 1.8t.

also what are common leak ares? and should I just put on a silicone hose kit? and inlet?

help would be great seeing i have lost touch and just mostly DD this ride

any leaks or other site tips would be great!

Default They usuall leak in the pcv hoses under the intake--

You will find one of these VERY useful.
http://www.modshack.info/Pressure.htm

Other places are the hoses off the charge pipe going to the N75 and the DV . It gets hot there and degrades the tubing. Also on AMU engines there is a troublesome fitting on the passenger end of the intake. Yours will be different but still worth checking there. Stock boost should be about 14-15 psi IIRC. Mine is APR chipped with a boost regulator from Modshack and runs 22-23 so I forget.
Good Luck. They are hard to find without the pressure tester.

Maybe because you are shifting? lol

The video looks like everything is fine. You are boosting ~15 lbs, which is stock, you have a 15 second / 92 mph 1/4 time which is fine after looking at the way you shift in the video. Best you will do stock is ~14 seconds / 96+ mph.

I'd work on your shifting skills if you want to improve that 15 second time. Other than that... the car is not a fast car unless you want to drop a bigger turbo and a bunch of other things in it!

well this was a back road with slow shifting i was not lunching or shifting fast... and 15.01 at 92 mph some thing seemed up..
in 03 i was running a new GTI with nothing more then an intake and turbo back 3' was just as fast seem a bit odd to me
has any one seen a stock 225 run mid to low 14's ever?
