Default DIY - Stealth Nuvi / Naviagation / GPS Install with 'GadgeTT'

Just finished the install tonight. My goals for the project were:
1. Have no visible wiring
2. Keep the install as clean as possible
3. Place the GPS in a highly visible area for the driver.
4. Allow the passenger and well as the driver easy access to it.
5. Still have fully functioning vents

If you have any questions let me know.

Default Very nice, creative wire routing!

I like that, I came out the vent face for my Sirius which is a little wider but the wires are still a bit visable. I really like the way you went.

Default Thanks :-).... I thought about going that way as well....

it certainly would have been easier :-P....but I didn't want to see any wires from either the drivers or passenger seating positions and I wanted the vent to be fully functional as well. This really wasn't that bad once I figured everything out.

Looks nice Warren.... but what are you going to do with the ugly wire running to the V1?

Default Yeah its on the list....

it pushes down inside the dash when the V1 not present (which looks great, IMO)- I might still rewire it to above the rearview; its just I don't like things that dangle so we'll see, I'm open to suggestions.
