Mine still works but makes an awful sound. Glad its not driver side.

pull the door card and spray some white lithium grease on the pulleys

where they contact the cable. that cured my window noise.

are the pop rivets different that just regular ones? and if so, a regular pop rivet gun works?

you need a pretty heavy duty rivet gun >>

rivets are: 4.8mm diameter x 10mm long Stainless Steel blind pop rivets (part number is posted in the original thread above)

so you need a rivet gun with the 5mm attachment.

this is the gun i used.

it really is crazy how much effort you need drive the rivet. i was afraid my fingers were going to snap off.
