Default Checked power steering fluid and was shocked to find that it has the consistency of yogurt -->

The new fluid I bought is water-like (very similar to haldex fluid)....has anyone else experienced this?

Default Yogurt?

Sounds like contamination of some sort...I think a purge is necessary!

Default granola, crunchy bits, same thing to me. Either way I don't touch the stuff.

I only eat it if it had legs at one point, or fins I guess. Trying to do my part to balance out what those stupid hippies are trying to do.

god i hate hippies...

Default Is it a tan color? >>

Water in Hydraulic oils can emulsify and get thick when water gets in. Definitly calls for a thorough flush.

Default probably someone mixed in some other fluid like oil or G12 in there...

that can cause it to coagulate.
