that would be great. hard to know what kind of gauge this stuff is without handing it to someone.

Default seems like that write-up makes it worse than it is. i've had the glass out several times now ...

really, it's straightforward; common sense will get you through it. you'll see what i mean once you do it :-)

Default Correct Rivets and a crappy rivet gun>>

Window Regulator 8N0-837-461 (Drivers, Left, Side) $130

You probably don't need the motor..but for reference:
Window Motor 8N8-959-801-E (Drivers, Left, Side) $207

Window Regulator Rivets N-904-786-01 (qty-8) $4.32
You use 7..but I got 8..

Just buy any rivet gun at your local hardware store, auto parts store, or harbor freight. This is the one I have..$5!..haha. It does the job..all guns are gonna be about the same, unless you get into air-powered ones. I'm not joking when I say you have to use all your strength to pop 'em in...and I'm huge..huge!

seems odd i can't just replace the cable.
