Default Brake pedal very stiff (pressurized) right after pulling high boost. What can cause this?

I know a bad brake booster can cause this, but what else can do this?

Default There has to be a check valve to prevent boost from going to the booster.

Sounds like it is bad. do brakes feel normal if stopping form a normal "in vacuum" situation? More evidence that boost is not being isolated from the booster. Sorry but I don't know where that check valve is without snooping around, but, it is there somewhere.

Default check valve is located on the line at the end of the manifold opposite the throttle body >

for the brake booster. On the 180 it's right at the end of the "Y" hose; on the 225 I think it's at the passenger side firewall, where the line turns forward to parallel the charge pipe; look there first - and might be there's more than one.

Yes, brakes feel normal when stopping normally (in vacuum or low boost)

Default no, but the BB line runs from the brake cyl at the drivers side along the firewall >

to the pass side, then turns to the front to the end of the intake mani; the CV is located right at the turn to the front.

Thanks. What should the check valve do? Inhibit flow from manifold to #7?

no, it keeps pressure from the manifold *in* the line, rather than allowing it to bleed off or drop.
