Baby on board...Anyone try a Baby Seat in a TT?
We had our first child about 4 months ago. I'm fighting to keep the TT, explaining that a baby seat can go in the front seat when needed.
Anyone try the rear seats, or have any luck with the booster seats in the rear for when she's no longer an infant but still needs a car seat?
Shameless pictures of my daughter:

Booster seats fit in the back. Front seats have to move forward a bit, but there's room.
The rear-facing baby seats won't fit I don't think, but I only have experience with the boosters above. Good luck and congratulations!

i'm not sure it's legal to put the baby sit up front. and i doubt the baby seat will fit in the back
even with the front sit all the way up. it's time to move on man you're a dad now no more toys

I've run boosters in the rear for 2 years.
The oldest is now 8 and doesn't need one but the 6 year old is still in a booster. They don't need boosters as long since the seats are smaller and the seat belt fits better earlier on.
From what I've read a rear facing in the back is nearly impossible. It may be done on the passenger side with the front seat moved all the way forward and the back of it tilted all the way forward as well. Regardless the front passenger seat will be unusable.
BTW, I have a third kid on the way and due in May, add in the 8 and 6 year old and my TT is still going no where. If anything I'll pull out the rear seat and put in a seat delete and just make it a 2 person car. But I want the new boy to be able to experience rides back there once he's a bit older too so I'm not sure what I'll do. I do know the wife is going to end up in a wagon/SUV/Minivan of some sorts and that will be the family hauler.

Obviously!
My reply was made with humor, I understand your point. Family and safety always come first and the TT is just a machine that can be replaced. But there's always ways around that. Like I said, I have my 3rd kid on the way but my TT isn't going anywhere. It may make things inconvenient at times but we'll make do. The wife and I are fortunate that we work at the same place now so that makes things easier. We also live in a small town where it isn't that difficult to stop home and switch vehicles if need be to pick up the kids. And ultimately we hope the wife can stay home once the kid is born since day care costs are about as much as she makes.
