Default Anyone run General Exclaim UHPs? Looking for some feedback

just ordered a set to be installed next week. Got a set of 225/40/ZR18s for $604 out the door. This is compared to over $1,200 out the door for replacement GSD3s. I've heard that these tires are awesome for the money. What says everyone about these tires? I'm most concerned with sidewall stiffness and wet traction, dry traction comes with the price i imagine, more quattro opportunities. :-)...

Default I've used them for a couple of years now...

for the price I think it's a great tire. Very few issues with the sets i've owned. IMO, they have great wet traction. As a matter of fact I ran them all winter without any issues. I don't you can go wrong for what you pay for them.

Default Yes they are good

Hey! I have been running them for a little over a year and I think they are great for the money. I don't do any racing of course, just spirited driving and they seem to hold very well even in the rain. They are really quiet too!

Default Been running and tracking it for more than 6 mos now

Same exact tires as the one you bought but I got mine from onlinetires.com (they beat tire rack on price, and I could do a local pickup). Pretty quiet tires, good wet grip, and as far as the track it wasnt bad at all. I had 2 track days and 1 autocross already and the wear is good. Not the best tires for tracking but it will definitley do the job. Bes tires for the buck!

I put them on last year and I love em. I haven't had any problems with traction in the wet or dry. Definitely a hard tire to beat for the price.
