Took my car to an audi shop to have my timing belt and stuff done, and wanted them to install my downpipe and get the apr stage 2 flash.

I go to pick it up, and they I have a flashed ecu already... Its not an apr, and he has no way of finding out which company it is... anyone know how I can find out? lol.

the chip is NOT activated, and when I bought the car, it appeared to be 100% stock.

oh yeah, the car doesnt feel very fast. The 225 I test drove felt much faster. Is there a "chip" that produces an economy mode? I get really really good gas mileage... 30+mpg.

Chips CAN give you better gas mileage if you stay off the boost.

My Revo chip (flash actually) optionally comes with a controller that switches between stock and performance programs. It costs extra and I didn't buy it. But maybe your original owner did, and switched it back to stock, sold the car, and kept the switch. Call him.
