Default Doing the spray will be easy..>>

See the red bar and where it goes up and into the red bushing? That's it. Yours will be black though. Douse it with some silicone and see if it doesn't help...

Onthe latch, you can adjust the bumpers at each corner without tools. To adjust the latch pull off the pastic cover on the lid and you'll see some torx bolts. Its easy to get that out of alignment though so loosen and tap up gently to tighten the lid clamping, then re-tghten the torx..

Nice additions, glad to see that even though you're TTless, you still hang out here

Default Sounds neat. I'd be curious if a dealership would do anything about it as well...

Sadly I don't have the ability to pop off my tires here at home so the latch thing could be more of an easier fix.

Default Just to update. Packed the car a *little* to full at xmas and slamed the trunk down and it didn't ..

close right (one side was down while the other wasn't) after the big "BANG" when I unlocked it I noticed when I sorted the trunk space out and started to drive that my squeaking was gone!

I think once it gets warmer out again I'll take the back part out and to that "felt" fix like you were saying before.
