Default I will have to jack-up the car to take the pictures.........

Let's see if I'm up to it.

Default Here is a picture of the suppport rod.......

tack welded to the DP and anchored to the driver's side of the underbody through the J-hook end of the rod. I didn't bother to jack-up the car. I just stuck the camera under the lowered car and hoped for the best. I was surprised how well it came out. It's nice to have a good camera (Canon EOS digital rebel XT).
I hope this explains the set-up.

Thanks, I'll take a look at those. The dogbone bushings don't seem like enough.

Default Looks pretty good

Thanks for the great photo of the support bar. I'll mention that to my exhaust guy. It seems though that most of the stress is coming from the twisting of the engine rather than the weight of the rest of the system. Maybe it could be a combination of both.

Default Ha, that thing is like $2700. I haven't quite reached that level of angst on this exhaust yet. :D

Not saying I didn't look into it though...

Haha, well how about Jetex? I thought I saw where they also have downpipes? I could be mistaken.

Default i actually still have the original bolts in before 42DD supplied the replacements since

they would come loose. i was going to swap them out...but never had problems with them so far. i'm holding onto them just in case or the next time i have to get in there.
