Default My buddy steve from VA made 392 whp, we've busted down on local v8 guys many times!

Its a beast once the turbo is spooled around 4k rpms. His screename on the tex is 1.8t3t04e or something close. Its honestly a pretty ghetto setup.

I'll prolly run a gt series turbo 28 or 30r with a few ghetto tuning tricks.

Default What kind of engine management does he use? I´m also aming at 400hp.

What kind of engine management does he use? Original, piggyback or stand alone? I´m currently tuning my TT to about 400 hp but I dont know wich way to go to get the best management to the engine that will work with the rest of the car.
The comp is set to 7.5:1. I´m using a stroker crank from Hohenester and I have increased the bore to 82 mm. I´m also using a 2,3 mm head gasket. The new cylinder volyme will be slightly above 1,9 litre. The new cams will have 112 degree spread and the exhaust 262 with 9,1 lift and intake 272 eith 10,4 lift. My injectors can deliver 450 cc at 3,5 bar and I can adjust the pressure up to 5 bar without any problems since i have a 220 l/h fuelpump. The cylinder head is ported and the exhaust valves are changed to a better kind that kan take more heat. I'll be using a cast Hohenester exhaust manifold with a custommade KKK based on the k26 compressor that was designed for Porsches Le Mans racing cars. (VERY expensive ). It can deliver 2 bar without any problems.

http://www.rattracing.com</a

Default Very Interesting project man i'd like to hear more...

Email me @ BTrevino@meridianmgmt.com and we'll talk in futher detail.

He pulled ~300whp with a stock ecu, just clamping the map sensor and running 550s @ 3 bar w/ a manual b/c. He was running pig rich downlow and 10:1 up top. He is now using a custom revo file they are testing for bigger turbos.

Email me, your CR sounds a little low but with a big turbo you'll be able to boost the hell out of that motor.
