Default 24 Hours of Lemons - Houston

Tried to pick up this beauty to enter this weekend. Came back from a meeting late yesterday afternoon and saw it parked outside the office. Waited around but never saw anyone near it. It was still there when I left last night (without plates - but this is Texas so that doesn't mean much). Must have died on the spot Can't imagine why.

http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/events/gator09/</a

Default To enter THIS WEEKEND? Don't those cars require a crapload of safety prep?

cages, etc?

Default Two days off, a couple of all nighters, and some welding

The hard part is finding drivers. Most of my friends don't share my sense of "fun".

Default I have friends entering this weekend -- they have been having lots of fun

getting ready. They learned a bunch last fall and hope to do even better this time around!

Default We've got a team based out of Austin that ran in the Fall, they leave tomorrow for the weekend

Team Unintended Accel... If you were there in the Fall I'm sure you remember them. I believe they had the most penalties.

finding drivers is hard? I'd jump on the chance to drive in real world wheel to wheel rather than DEs, but the local team is full and we don't have enough people for a second team.
