Default 2001 TT Quattro Recommended Battery

My battery died. It's my first time to be replacing my battery. Which one should I get?
Duralast Gold battery (520 (EN) Cold cranking Amps (650 cranking Amps)?
or
Bosch S5 (600 Cold cranking Amps

Thanks

I went to Sears and got whatever was the second best (the best-est was way vver $100) and when it died in 3 years they gave me a new one free - it was a fluke problem with 1 cell. The Die Hard batteries were some of the best

I'm not expert in the matter, but I've had several mechanics (who I respect) tell me the Die Hards are some of the worst batteries on the market. I've actually heard the duralasts are pretty good.

Best solution, I think, is really go to an authorized Audi reseller of parts and have your car assessed there and if the battery's really problematic, let the experts fix it. If you stick with your mechanics, there's conflict of interest; better if it's an unbiased party.

LOL!

Now there's a way to spend 3 X for a battery! Plus labor too!
