Default We appreciate the thoughtful response.

We realize we cannot win in all markets, but we've found that "forum" favorites vary from forum to forum. This forum's favorite is certainly not the favorite in most other forums, so the market is in essence wide open for new competition.

We've co-opted a few different pre-existing proven parts from our catalog to create this valve, so it is fairly low risk for us to market it.

Thanks for reading!

you just need some more elegant-looking bolts - black, socket-head cap screw or such.

Default Understand, was just trying to bring this in to context for the TT forum.

The vast majority of our market isn't making 500hp, so the concern of a product that holds that sort of power is more likely less important than looks, price, and every day driveability/reliability.

Understand you are just marketing and weren't looking for these responses. Just thought I would share my view. Carry on

Default This thing is so ugly, you'd have to give it away, and pay someone to install it

Then if it holds up as well as you say, you might be able to sell them if, and only if, you made them look better. As is, no one will be buying this ugly piece of equipment that looks like it was sourced from toilet parts and gutter screws from Home Depot.

Sorry to be so harsh, but you seem to be open to criticisms and these are my honest reactions.

Default I've always been a fan of diaphram valves.....>

They generally perform and respond better than piston types. The issue has been reliability.
If this one is indeed bulletproof, it is a very good option. On the looks, I prefer the term "Functionally elegant" over fugly....:-)

Good luck with it...Anxious to see someone try it here..
