staley at bartuning is a hack! you need to start making me a check for the labor you owe me. you totally ****ED my timing belt job among many other things. i have a whole list of items that you said that were "new" and that was a complete lie upon your part. you have lied to so many people and it will come back to haunt you.
i have a whole list of complaints about you. if you are such the self-proclaimed "christian" family man here, then do what's right. you owe me for parts and labor.
since i've had my car back i've had to:
clean the mouse **** out of my car
redo a failing timing belt within 7k miles
completely reinstall my front end and secure my ic's and reweld spots from where YOU punctured them.
correct boost leaks that YOU caused.
my brakes went out due to a poor fab job YOU did on my brake booster line.
fix oil leaks which YOU installed lines half assed.
coolant leaks from bad banjo bolts that YOU installed.
redo my motor mounts that blew in less than 7k because of a poor install that YOU did.
i still have yet to recieve all my car parts back from you.
this is just the small list.
you didn't even install horns on my car.
you didn't even know the correct compression ratio on my engine.
redo my bipipe that YOU welded on backwards and had to wait another two months on top of the 13 months my car sat in your shop.
MAN UP HERE and do the right thing for once. i nearly lost my life when my brakes went out.

btw, thanks for hacking the crap out of rs4 shrouds, but i'm sure you are
a stand up guy and will send me a check and reimburse me for everything you destroyed. i'll post the photos of the amazing dremel skills that comes out of your shop.

Haha, wow sorry to hear that man. Did u make multiple visits to the shop or somethin...
Because that's a lot of work. After one visit to the shop on my old B5, it was enough for me to never go back again :-)

Look, anyone would be pissed at a company who delivered a car in the condition that mine was delivered in. Especially after the 15 months of down time and 13 THOUSAND dollars. The guy has zero excuses.
I have had my lawyer call him several times only for him to weasel his way. This whole talk about "fraud" is bull ****. If anyone committed an act of fraud it was him. He specifically stated to me about the new parts that he installed on my car that was simply not true.
He sold me on rs4 heads, not 2.8 heads. He said he installed all new timing belts components, which was obviously not true. He caused my first set of ko4's to seized and tried blaming it on me. He told me my block was going to be a 3.2 not a 2.8, hell he still isn't sure about my compression ratio.
He's obviously trying to lie his way out of this ordeal and make me look like the bad guy here. He has no excuses. He has three complaints (soon to be four) with the BBB in last 36 months. I've spoken to people who completely despise the guy with a passion.
As I mentioned before, my money or insurance money still spends the same. I did not commit one act of fraud, the only fraud here is mike Staley at bartuning and he is just trying to find and use me as a scapegoat way to get out of it by blaming me, meanwhile justifying his ****ed up work in his own mind because he thinks I committed fraud?
I guarantee you are being lied to by him and I'm not surprised. There is always an excuse with that guy and he is always lying about the rest. For example, I called him and asked him how everything was going (three months in) and he told me that everything was going smoothly and that he was working on the car as we speak. 5 mins later I pulled up into his shop only to find my car in 500 pieces in the back storage.
Seriously, do not let him lie to you too. He is a bona fide hack. Look at my pics of his so called quality work.
The guy has had zero integrity to make things right. He still owes me car parts and I am still cleaning up the damage in which he has caused and done. In all honesty, he owes me for my missing parts, timing belt kit, and labor.
He knows that he's the one to blame here. How in god's green earth would it be me? The one who paid him 5k OUT OF MY OWN POCKET with my credit card to get the ball rolling.
Foo or anyone else who cares, what reason would I have to come on here after almost three years and still complain about the same situation?
I mean for Christ's sakes, he let a mouse build a nest in my floor board in my 40k dollar car because it sat so long and again, tried blaming it on me. My car was SLOWER than a stock s4 after I rcvd the car back. Why in the hell his shop is called "BARtuning" is beyond me, he knows absolute dick about tuning. Try and asking him a question about tuning and see for yourself, what car has he actually "tuned"?
Staley, you just need to man up and have some integrity about this and cut me a check, I'm not going to stop until you do. Which is going to cost more...me and word of mouth and you losing business or cutting me a check? I had two other guys wanting stage III installs done by you, did they ever show up? HELL NO. Look at how you handle things.

yep...you sound like another satisfied customer of the ol hackster. he sold this
kid a "level 10" tranny....since when does a rag, brake cleaner, and an oem tranny equal "level 10"?

I was TRYING to be sincere and wish you the best with your dilemma. My questions were fair and I was asking WHY if you have an attorney, has he not served Mike with papers... seeing how you state you have hired an attorney and that he has made numerous attempts to call Mike.
If you have proof, pictures, other mechanics testimony as to the horrible job Mike did on your car, it should be a very easy case for your attorney to win correct? So again, why has he not been served already?
I'll let you in on a little secret that MY attorney tells me about things like this... there are 3 sides to every story... your side, his side and the truth! I've heard both sides and don't know the truth BUT I can tell you that all you're doing is making yourself look like an *** by constantly posting this crap.
