After installing the new garage door a few months ago, it is quickly weathering due to water getting on it......so an overhang was in order. The previous owner did not put any kind of overhang on the garage....WTF?
So I got some material on Saturday, and built the supports late in the afternoon.....no exposed fastners.....
My neighbor helped me hang them on Sunday morning, pretty much everything else I did by myself.....my son helped for a few minutes and so did Kimberly.....

The night before I was thinking of when I could get the douglas fir beadboard for the inside and remembered that I had left over bamboo flooring from the 2-flat.....it's pre finished, I needed 33" pieces, the bamboo is 38", so it worked perfectly and did not cost me a dime!!!
