Motorola BT -> Symphony II integration

Motorola BT -> Symphony II integration
After my semi-successful PDA integration (GROMAUDIO + Palm TX), it's time for phone integration. My goal is to make it as OEM looking as possible. So I have quick questions.
Symphony II has "phone" mode, but what does it mean?
Do I need to install new microphone, or maybe 02 Audi A4 already has it somewhere?
And last but not least what kit you recommend?

OEM bluetooth or aftermarket...
...netiher one is much harder than the other, but the OEM costs a bit more $$ for the parts.
Advantage of OEM bluetooth, full intergration including steering wheel controls to answer/dial calls. For full features, nice intergration along with RNS-E navigation unit. Components are invisible.
Advantage of aftermarket kits (like Motorola or Parrott) cost. Disadvantage is that you are left with an extra button/control switch on your dash somewhere.
Both OEM and aftermarket setups will allow for sound to pass through your exisiting speakers, and will automatically mute when calls are placed/received.
Both choices are fine, depends on what you want, and how much you are willing to spend.

Power
I don't have navigation or fancy steering wheel.
The only thing that really bothered me is how to power Bluetooth components, I heard stereo doesn't offer enough juice.

you hook right up to the power leads under the dash...
most BT kits will come with a power wire that includes an in-line fuse. Just connect the other end to the power leads. There will probably be a wire for constant power, switched power, and ground.

aftermarket BT installation

wow....sounds like you are starting to make positive posts towards the OEM BT option....
...that's a new development. I remember you saying that the OEM BT option was not worth the $$....have you changed your tune yet?
Let me know if you need a harness, mic etc...I've got lots of them in stock.
Good luck!!!
