I just bought a A3 1.8T 2002 Facelift but does this car have CANBus. It thought I read some threads that it has K Line.

The car has an RNS-D Unit (Navi Plus) and the TMC Tunerbox has CAN L and CAN H wires.

What do I want to do with this info?
- Maybe build an Bluetooth adapter for Phone
- Diagnostic/Telemetrics (ECU) screen to show some info. It already has an boardcomputer, but I like building it.

The modules communicate over can with one another, but diagnostics/scanning and whatnot is done over k-line.

Is there some documentation about CAN or K Line from Audi?

I'm sure there is but I don't know about it. I do know if you open up the modules from 98-up there are can controllers inside.
