I think even in light of what's transpired over the past couple days, it will be nice to get together for a meal and hang out.
It should be far enough away that our lives can return to a bit normalcy by then. And, if there are any of our fellow AW'ers that have been seriously affected by the fires, we can give them some needed support.

All are invited! Feel free to bring your wives, girlfriends, boyfriends (NTTAWWT).
Please let me know if you plan to attend -- as soon as you know -- so I can make the appropriate arrangements at the restaurant.
Hope that you are all safe and sound, and I hope to see you there!

Saw this cross-posted in A3 forum. Just saying best of luck to you all, stay safe, and glad you plan
something fun to get away from that disaster down there as much as you can.
I lived in San Diego for 10 years, went to college at UCSD, and still consider it home even though I'm up in the Bay Area. I once lived in Poway, worked in Rancho Bernardo, and on and on. The news from your area is very personal to me, and unimaginable.
Anyway, take care all. I wish I could join you for that GTG. Would be fun, I'm sure.

I guess it'd depend on if he had is car back by then. Unfortunately, I think...
he was forced to evacuate this week due to the fires. His area is being let back in today, so maybe we'll see some posts from him soon.
