Default Santa Monica Audi = Terrible Service; Stay Away

1. 5 days to diagnose squeak in chassis -- still no fix
2. 1 day to repair light in glove compartment -- was never broken they just needed to have the headlights on for this function
3. 5 days to repair Parktronic sensors -- feature works now but the eye is not properly affixed
4. Mechanic left tools scattered about the car
5. Mechanic forgot to hook up the air bladders; consequently the car SANK during drive home w/ warning icons flashing and beepers buzzing -- could hear the air hissing out as the front collapsed.
6. No loaner car for 5 days.
7. No apologies. These clowns changed their name over from Steve Taub Audi because they had the worst rating on the better biz bureau.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Default Sounds like Pacific Audi...they suck too. Scam artists

Don't safety inspect their vehicles! Sad for an Audi dealer I heard good things about. Oh well...can't wait to put up the pics!!!

Default Has quite a bit of history. Unfortunately, bad history. Let AOA know.

Luckily, I've been treated like a King at Sta. Audi. I've recently taken my business to our sponsor DTLA Audi. No complaints, yet. (Knocking on wood.)

Default They've always been bad. The owner lost his dealership license for Porsche and it became something

else. Should've asked us here first and we would've set you straight.

And I am involved in a fight at Mission Viejo Audi because they sld me a wrecked ar that was CPO and carfax cert. but it's been in the shop for 8 out of the 9 days I've had it -- the car was in an accident and my lawyer is going after them -- I am about to loose faith in Audi.

Any GREAT dealers w/ GREAT SERVICE in LA?

Default SM Audi is now owned by BH Audi... but BH Audi is still much better...

AoA threatened to revoke Steve Taub's franchise as well (Porsche pulled the trigger) and basically forced the owner to sell the franchise. It is now owned by the company that owns Beverly Hills Audi. However, their service dept is still not up to the level of Beverly Hills Audi. I would take your car there next time. It's only 3 miles away.

Default Re: Santa Monica Audi = Terrible Service; Stay Away

We bought our car from Santa Monica Audi, but I would NEVER take it there for service. We got a great deal on a CPO 2006 model with 4400 mi. on it, but they tried to deliver the car with a bubble on one tire. After I insisted on a new tire on the spot, they took a new spare out of another car, but took them 2 hrs. to change the tire! Likewise, the tire tools were just thrown in the trunk and the plastic ton. Then I get home and the owners manual and cargo net are missing. Went around the block with them on those since it was a CPO (actually a service loaner) but got them eventually.

We've had VERY good service at Commonwealth Audi in Santa Ana. My son's B6 has had great service, including replacing light bulbs on the spot with no appointment and he got a new radio/CD changer under warranty for a sticky and peeling volume ****. They did the 50,000 mi. service early because the 4 yr. warranty was about to run out.
