how long does it take for an accident to show up on carfax?

Depending on state it can be one month, three months, six months, or once a year in january.

It might never show up, and that's what makes CarFax useless
The accident I had in my A4 two years ago (3 in December) still hasn't shown up, and the one accident my Acura was in never showed up, even 11 years later.
