Default any thoughts on ducting air to the brakes with a custom lower grill insert?

i've got a set of extra lower grill inserts coming, with the center bar already removed.

i think i'm going to just pull the fogs - they are basically worthless anyway.

think there is enough room to get a brake duct opening next to the intercoolers?

Default lots of ways you could do it.

the way I did was I custom molded a set of air intakes from a racing supply house and molded them into the back where the stock fogs go. then i ran hose to the brakes. I'll try to get some pics latter.

Default please do Phil...i'd like to see how you ...

handled the ducting to the rotors and how it compensates for suspension turning as you drive through a corner.

thanks.

Default this is a pic but not what you want to see.

I'll post more pics soon but you can buy the air hose you need in the 2.5 inch size from here
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/

the link below is for a air craft supply house that sells conections you can rivet to the splash guard on the brakes. They are $6.85 each in the 2.5inch size. you want part number
10350-10.

I know this pic kinda sux but it gives you the idea. once you make the parts for the intake it comes together without much trouble. the intakes are also availabe from pegasus.

Default excellent...

i like the idea.

i also like the possibility of riveting the hose connection to the existing brake disc splash gaurd. this will really simplify fabrication.

look forward to the other pics.

i'll post my progress on this forum too.

:-)
