Default Brake pad wear sensor.....

After installing Stoptech Club Race pads in the front and Porterfield R4S pads in the rear, I went to the track and did lapped for a whole day with like 4 20 minute sessions. The next day, my pad wear sensor came on, yet the pads were fine. I turned the car off and back on and it went away. After this it has been intermitently coming on and goes away if I turn the car off for a few seconds and back on. Is the pad wear sensor for the front or rear brakes? Perhaps the heat from the brakes damaged the modification to the pad wear sensor I made when installing th Stoptechs? What do you think?

Default Re: Brake pad wear sensor.....

Cut the wires coming off the pad, short them, and plug them into the harness. No more light. Just look at the pads.

Default That is what I did, I cut the two wires soldered them together and pluged into the harness.
