Default How will BF Goodrich g-Force Sport do in the snow?

Up in Tahoe I do not feel like shelling out another $800 for winter tires....

Default Worse than if you armor-all them and drive in the rain.

Do you feel like shelling out your insurance deductable and then higher premiums after you crash the car? Don't cheap out on snows, especially around Tahoe. They won't even let you drive up there without snows and chains during winter storms.

Default These tires have near zero snow capability...summer only tires.

Default Not in a winter storm. Caltrans requires 4wd and snows +/- chains.

Default why not get a separate set of wheels? Then you could do a smaller size and save some money.

i.e. if you have a B5 A4, you could do 15" wheels used from someone, then throw some 205/60/15 winter tire on them.

Default cheap is relative. hard to find a decent option, but...

check ebay for hankook or similar. personally, I wouldn't go that route to save at most $100-200 on a performance fitment.

I think your best options are to pop for nokians or dunlops (based on your needs and preference), or get a set of dedicated snows in 16"... should be about $600-$800 either way, including mounting.

Default Check the AW classifieds and Audizine - lots of cheap used snow sets or smaller B5 wheels on AZ.
