The DBS2 is not a summer tire.
The ES100 will have better dry grip and handling than the G force sport, but will be louder as they wear versus the BFG.

Toyo T1-R
Falken GRB FK451 Dunlop SP9000 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 BF Goodrich KDW2 Falken ST-115 Those are some of the "longer lasting" summer tires off the top of my head. It really depends on how you drive.. one person might get 10,000 out of tire someone else gets 30,000 from.

I guess thats even better though. I'm not looking for all out performance, just something that provides good grip and will last me 2 seasons(~40k miles).
I have the Bridgestone RE950's at the moment...should I try out the DBS2's? Have you heard anything bad about them? Are you working now? I have to order these today or tomorrow.

I never liked the Dunlops.
Didn't last long for me and the performance wasn't worth the price. Just me though.

If you're willing to accept the tradeoff in handling, the DBS2 would wear about 30K-35K miles, while you might expect closer to 40K out of the RE950, but a slight step down in dry handling from the DBS2.
Hope this helps.
