Default Is it safe to use wheel cleaner on BBS CH's?

I just bought a used set off a guy and he recommended not to use wheel cleaners on them. Most of the times I just use my car soap on my wheels but sometimes I need something a little stronger. Is it safe to use something like Eagle 1 wheel cleaner on them?

Default I' ve had mine for 2 years, and use Griots wheel cleaner...

Approved by BBS. That's a good enough endorsement for me :&gt I buy it by the gallon, and it lasts a long time. I clean them weekly, including inside the barrels, with a long audi wheel brush that I insert through the openings in the spokes.
