I recently upgraded my TT from the forged 17's w/Bridgestone RE040's to a set of 18's with Michelin Pilot Sports off an ALMS edition TT.
Wow, what a tire. I can certainly feel the difference. I didn't really dislike to Bridgstones (contrary to many on the forum), but the Michelins are a noticeable step up. They are pricey, but now I know why. Anyone willing to spend the money won't be disappointed.

Good point. That is a common upgrade away from the OEM RE040s to improve upon them.. Typically the Bridgestone S03s or the Michelins will have more to offer if replacing a set.
