Default Geez! Ya can't even get a 5-spoke in this town! (more)

I am on a quest... the quest for the perfect five spoke wheel, 17", 7.5-8 wide, to be wearing 225/45 R17 tires. All I ask is that it's a wheel, with five spokes that aren't too thin, classy looking but not too boring, that isn't TOO heavy, that is relatively strong, is close to stock offset, and if possible, is hubcentric without having to use a ring. I'd also love it if it was European. The obvious answer of course, is the A8 wheel, but those are a bit too dear for my pocketbook. I am budgeting in the low $300 range for each wheel. Does anyone know if such an animal exists or is it the crack talking?

I think they've been recently discontinued but are still available from vendors.

Default How about ordering Rondell Design 52 wheels from Germany?

I think John F has already received his wheels and can verify the quality of their TUV approved wheels. This wheel is an exact replica of the Audi 5-spoke wheel in 17x8 size with ET35 offset. This offset is better suited to the A4 than the A8 17" wheels which have a 48 mm offset (wheels will sit inward). I think the price comes out to less than $200 per wheel, shipping charges included.

Default don't buy a discontinued wheel you will not be able to replace a wheel if needed

If you do... buy an extra one while you can just in case
