Default Tires peeling off and scratches on my A! wheels...

All,
Today, I had DiscountTire guys put 235/45/17 NITTO NT555 on my A4 Avant(have Bilstein&HR combo). I was litttle worried about going from 225/45 Pirelli S7000 SS to 235/45. Guess what...
I was right about that. Now,fenders(just front)can peel those tires like peeling off some carrots. Not happy...I should have done more research! But here is the worst of all, guy who put my tires on made scratches on every single wheels. I could not see those scraches till I cleaned them. Now that is not a good quality service!!

Going back there Monday...

Default Fender rolling will help some....but it might not be enough...235/40/17 would have worked better. Good Luck

Default A! Wheels have a ET32mm don't they? It may contribute to the problem.

Default Re: Tires peeling off and scratches on my A! wheels...

Did you ask for the 235/45zr17's ? And did he recommend the Nitto's? You can run 235/40zr17's.
