Default 235x40x17 Info wanted.

Any experiences out there with 235x40x17 wheel bags? (tires thats is)
I have 50mm drop AZK springs and getting
AZK(Oz Racing) wheels with offset 35.
Has anyone a similar setup and any experiences?
Do the Fenders have to get rolled?

Default They would probably rub...

I have 16x7.5" ET35 with 205s and they sit just inside the fender. With 235s on an an 8" rim the tire will stick about .75" farther out on both sides. I think it will definitely stick outside the fender. Hopefully you can find someone with a similar setup to verify. HTH.

Default I have 225/45ZR17's on 17x8 ET35 wheels....

No rubbing, No rolled fenders. It's lowered with coilovers down to about a 1 to 1 1/2 finger gap between the top of the tire and the fender. I have pics on my site....

Default 235x40x17 Fits Perfectly!

Just got the 235x40x17 tires fitted to my AZK wheels
which are made by OZ wheels 17"x8" 35 offset.

Also have 50mmmm lower AZK springs and Koni shocks.

One interesting thing is we placed the same wheel on a pre 98.5 A4
(The model with the Audi logo under the side marker)
And the wheel and tire seems to stick out more.
I wonder if audi when they moulded the guard made it with a touch more flare over the front wheels?
