How much is it for the spacers? I would be interested in something like that.. I was looking at installing Porsche Turbo rims on my A4...

H&R will have an adapter for the exact application in the future. They will be one inch spacers that will change the bolt pattern from a 5x112 to the Porsche specs. They will cost 150 a pair.
Just out of curiousity, how much will the machine shop charge you for the custom ones? Regards, Steve 98 Passat GLX manual |

just got off the phone with H&R.
they have spacers already...well, not in the states yet. they bolt onto the existing 5x112 hub with small bolts and allow 5x130mm wheels (porsche) with standard length ball-socket lug nuts. the will retail for $149/pair (you need 2 sets) but there is another issue. offset. |

I remember seeing that the offest for the Porsche wheels is something like 52mm.
I dunno, but if the wheel is 18x8.5 with 52mm offset and the spacer is like 25mm (roughly an inch) would that make the Porsche wheel, in effect, have a 27mm offset? The logic makes sense to me but then again... 8^) Kevin S |

the offset on most P-car wheels is around 55ET...some are 52ET.
