Default Please Post Picture of 5 Spoke OEM Wheel with 225/50/16 Tires

I am considering upgrading to Dunlop SP8000s in 225/50/16 but would like to see what they look like on a the 5 spoke wheel. I have checked the archives and could not find a decent picture. I have seen past comments that the 225s look "chunky".

Any comments would also be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gene

Default Look at Sean G's site....under "Modifications to my car"...

He has a bunch of pics of his car up. I think they
include at least one of his 225/50R16 Dunlop 4000's
on the stock 5 spoke wheels. I know he's happy with
them, and there is no rubbing on the suspension.

Default Look at 96-98 BMW 328i w/16" sport package wheels ...

You should be able to judge the chunkiness by looking at how the BMW 328i/328is/328ic with the optional 16" x 7" (5 double spokes) wheels look with the 225/50R16 tires. In my opinion, they look fine and you should go ahead with the wider tires. The wider tires should also protect your wheels better from curb damage.

By the way, the same tire/wheel combo is available on the E46 BMW 323i with the sport package.
