How's it going? If that's a picture of your car...well I guess you must be very pleased because it looks fantastic. The more pictures I see of the A4 with these wheels makes me want them more. A couple of questions: Did the minor re-drilling blemish or make a noticeable mark on the wheels at all? Also, are these 18" wheels relatively heavy or light? Your response is greatly appreciated.

There is MINOR redrilling required... and MAJOR
troubles about your safety and potentially with insurance in case of accident. Ok I know there is no quality norms for rims in USA but nevertheless if the rim is not by design engineered for your car I let you imagine what could happen if you break one just in a curve testing the perfect handling of your car at 100 mph... Hello s..t providing the fact you're still alive ! I also agree that if it is just to show off in the parking lot it is not too much risky ;-) These rims are terrific and I would love to equip my car with, but it is really too much stress knowing the rims are not designed for it. My 2 cents Greetings Laurent |

Actually the redrilling is offsetted with an ADAPTER and Wheel Power GUARANTEES the work. The redrilling only a few millimeters on the back of the rim. I have never heard/seen/met/etc. a person loosing a rim that was redrilled... I respect your comments, but I can not agree with you.
ANY rim will be destroyed during a "curb test" @ 100mph if you hit the curb... if it breaks for any other reason... redrilled or not then the blame is on the quality of the rim. |
