Do I remove the socket head bolt offset from the center of the pulley, or the hex head bolt below the pulley?
Thanks in advance. Blauparts and Bentley instructions are, as usual, about as useful as Windows Help on this one and I don't want to screw it up.
Timing belt and water pump are already off. The tensioner pulley bearing is toast, and I'm replacing the hydraulic tensioner as well. Feeling rather fortunate I didn't lose the engine. Help a guy out, and I'll post pictures of the carnage.

There is only one bolt, shown above the socket in your picture.
You should also be doing the idler (on the other side) and the tensioner lever, not to mention all the upper engine seals. Good luck!

4D4 is right..it's the socket head cap screw right above the socket in the picture. You'll need the right allen wrench or preferably a hex head driver socket.

Excellent, thanks! And I'm guessing the relay lever is mounted with hex bolt I saw, and the hydraulic tensioner comes out with the three (fairly obvious) hex head bolts? Wait'll you guys see the tensioner pulley bearing...heh.
